Wedding Invitations
When my wife and I got engaged, we decided that it would be great for me to design our invitations so that they would fit the theme of our event perfectly. It was a wonderful experience, and has led to me begin creating wedding invitations for others as well.
I made these wedding invitations for our wedding this past year. We wanted to go for a turn-of-the-century feel, and I think we did a pretty good job!
This was a co-ed wedding invitation I designed recently. The theme of "gadgets & gizmos" led to me building a heart shape out of power tools on one side and kitchenware on the other. The client requested that the traditional gender roles be reversed for the design, so I made the power tools peach and the kitchenware navy. It was a really fun project, and the results have gone over very well with the bride and grooms families!
Wedding invitations for Amanda & Curtis. The couple requested their picture on the front of the card with event information on the other side, handbill-style.
Back of invitation. RSVP postcards were also printed, and the envelopes hand-painted to mimic the brushstroke designs on the invitations.
